In the last ten years Australia has stamped its mark on the world food map. Not only does it posses a wonderful climate and territory for wine making, it also provides excellent produce which their new breed of chefs are using to great effect. Australian cuisine is a hybrid of South-East Asian and Mediterranean flavours, with such a diverse society it is hardly surprising that Australia has so much to offer the gourmet traveller.
